The third installment in the AW series, Aw:DS will be released for the NDS (Nintendo DS) next week. From what I've read about this game, it looks like it will be a good one. For those of you who don't know, AW is a Turn Based RTS (Real Time Strategy) game with anime-like characters and what I like to call "Handheld Violence". You get to do battle with other CO's (Commanding Officers) and what not, it's exactly what it says, War! I will be seeing into getting my hands on it (as will elkin or so I hear) and hopefully giving out more details about this game.

Yeah I did forget but, my account is at the same level as your brothers and if you want to know what that is just ask him... Anyways I just got the game today and it was a bit diffuclt to get used to the stylus control but, I think I got the hang of it already. They added new characters but, I dont see some of the old ones, I'm rather disappointed.

All previous characters are still around. At least one new CO has been added to every nation though. Lemme see now.... Orange Star has two new ones, Jake and Rachel (Nell's sister from the old game), Blue Moon got one, Sasha (Colin's sister from the old game), Yellow Comet got one as well, Grimm and Green Earth got Javier. Black Hole got several new guys... Jugger, Kindle, Koal, and another guy named Von Bolt.

Dont scare me like that again. I was afraid Advanced Wars wouldn't match my expectations

You have a rank system, much how a character would level up in an RPG game.

You can play the game without using the touch screen but, whats the point in that! After all it is a DS... anyways you use it to move the units, attack, check for unit movement and attack ranges, and touch anything else you see on the screen.

I found out that Sturm is not in this game, he supposedly died in the last game. Most of them are alright, except for Kindle regular power. It does 3 damage to every enemy unit thats on a building. Rachels super power launches three random rockets at the opponent, it might sound corny but, they always hit the spot with the most enemies gathered so its quite nice.

You made your post yesterday and I knew that sam got AWDS on the day you guys went to camp other words, your late with the news! Anyways after you get a 10 rank, you get a different outfit for your CO's. I'm at mission 25 at the moment, still have no idea how many missions there actually are.
